clawed his way into wealth, he has already established himself as a most generous philanthropist.  He announced on The Oprah Winfrey Show that he gave $100 million to the Newark, N.J. public school system.

But his new contributions will be even bigger, with Zuckerberg joining 15 other high profile gazillionaires in an onslaught to change the world (or something lofty like that), according to the Wall Street Journal.

Zuckerberg (at 26) is the youngest of the plutocrats that include Giving Pledge founders Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, AOL co-founder Steve Case, financier Carl Icahn, former junk bond entrepreneur Michael Milken, Oracle founder Larry Ellison, filmmaker George Lucas and N.Y. Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
